Zion 100
Woooo-Whooo!!!
On April 13, 2025, I crossed the finish line of my very first 100-mile ultramarathon—just 25 minutes before the cutoff. It wasn’t exactly the race I imagined—my legs felt strong, but my stomach not so much. Still, I kept my head down, stayed focused, and didn’t quit. In the end, I got it done and earned that buckle!
Now that I’ve had a little time to reflect (and sleep!), I want to share the running gear that helped carry me through every one of those 100 miles. From shoes (no blisters!) to moisture-wicking layers and must-have accessories, these are the items that helped me get through on race day.
Heads up!
